This makes me think of a Loony Tunes cartoon where someone switches the sign or spins it to go in the other direction.
Signs and Tricksters seem made for one another.
If you are lost, what I just said will not feel helpful so I will offer a candle instead. And a match. (Or maybe a super cool flashlight/compass combo.)
And some compassion.
(Compassion has the word "compass" in it. I never noticed that before.)

Beautiful. Consider it stolen. :-)

And to put your kind heart at ease, Kymberlee, I AM lost, but I like it. Sort of put myself here, if you will. In real-life geography I have a pretty strong sense of direction, and when I lived in NYC I used to go to the West Village where the streets are all crooked and double-backing so that I had a chance of getting disoriented.
To turn Tolkien around: "Not all who are lost, wander."

I understand. Being disoriented can be so delicious. I'm glad to know you are peaceful with it all.
So no compass for you, mister! (But always compassion.)
